Set it correctly, sat on an even floor, but way off the mark, consistently registering about 10 lbs. lighter than the doctor's office scale. My old digital scale was only three lbs. off. When stepping off the needle always settled about three to four lbs. to the left or right of the zero. Required too much adjusting. Much bigger than I expected, long and bulky, not for a small space. Tried to return it, but the least expensive shipping was more than half of what I paid so it's now sitting in the closet. Don't waste your money on this one.
