It used to stress me out to go to the doctors office weekly for weight checks to only find out he hasn't gained anything. I decided I needed to take more control of his health and monitor his weight gain on my own, since I hate surprises and I want to know when I need to step it up a little. I have loved having this scale, so I can now go into the doctor's office with confidence. This machine is accurate and works well for my uses. It is sturdy and not cheap looking. It works just as well as the one at my doctor's office. I have no problems or concerns about and am thrilled to have it. It also works well for toddlers too. I would highly recommend this for those who need a little reassurance like I do.
