(More customer reviews)I tried going adifferent direction for my next talking scale (my first Royal gave up the fight after 5 years) but was dissatisfied with my other scale so I went back to Royal. I am pleased. The voice is soothing, loud, and crisp. One issue, though, you have to stand on the precise same place or it gives you crazy fluctuations. But can someone please explain something quirky to me: this happened with my first Royaal, and with this one, after stepping off the scale and before it turns off, it usually gives you some miniscule weight announcement, such as "1.4 pounds" or "2.1 pounds." Does anybody know why it does this?
