(More customer reviews)Initially this scale seemed to be working fine, and for the price I paid I could not complain for slight inaccuracies in the readings. However, a few months later the scale stopped working entirely (display would slow low battery indicator, but did not go away even with new batteries). Eventually the display failed to turn on at all.
Normally my advice would be to pay a little more and filter for highly-rated scales, however in this category of products on Amazon the ratings are suspiciously inflated for several of the bestselling scales (EatSmart, in particular). So I would suggest you look for a reputable ratings source (Good Housekeeping, Consumer Reports), and buy whatever is within your budget.
