(More customer reviews)This scale is one of the most frustrating scales I have ever had. The scale takes 2-5 trys to get a weight reading. It is annoying to be standing on it waiting for the female voice to read off the weight and you hear "Goodbye" instead of a reading. My household weight ranged from 130lbs to 395lbs so we are not pushing its maximum. The batteries have to be changed nearly weekly in order to avoid repeated "goodbyes" from the thing. I have also noticed that if you weigh several times in a row it will give you increasing weights each time. For example, the first time might say 212.60 then 213.00 then 214.20, it just keeps going up. It is not as accurate as other scales I have used. Given the frustration level, and battery use, I would not buy this brand again and would not recommend it either. If you need a higher weight scale, I would suggest paying a bit more and getting something else. If you do not need the high capacity, avoid it altogether.
